Autosport International is offering companies the opportunity to become further involved in a £4.6 billion industry*, when Europe’s largest motorsport trade exhibition opens its doors at the Birmingham NEC, UK, on 12-15 January 2012.
Attracting a trade audience of almost 30,000 people from more than 50 countries, Autosport International provides established and prospective businesses invaluable networking opportunities within the motorsport industry, and a platform to showcase technical and engineering innovation. Autosport International also celebrates the cross-over of technology to other sectors, including marine, aerospace and military divisions.
In 2011, Autosport International generated over £800 million of business as a direct result of the event, with leading motorsport and automotive marques including Porsche, Caterham, Chevron, Ginetta and Radical represented, all of which will be exhibiting again in 2012. Mercedes-AMG GmbH will also be present next year, showcasing the new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 car.
The 2012 show will feature a dedicated Trade and Technical Area in which exhibitors can reach both the trade and public audience. Market-leading manufacturing companies to have confirmed their attendance already include braking system firm Brembo, hydraulic shock absorber producer Öhlins Racing and Quaife Engineering, which manufactures commercial vehicle transmission technology.
Autosport International also headlines International Motorsport Business Week, a series of high-profile business forums and networking events focussing on worldwide motorsport business developments, which will take place from 9-15 January 2012.
International Motorsport Business Week includes the renowned Motorsport Safety Fund ‘Watkins Lecture’ on industry safety issues, Race Tech’s World Motorsport Symposium for leading motorsport engineers and designers, the MIA’s Low Carbon Racing Conference and the UKTI Business Exchange, a platform for one-to-one business meetings between international visitors and UK suppliers.
Tickets for trade visitors are now on sale for £25, with discounts available for group bookings. A limited number of exhibitor opportunities are also available.
